Meet The Team

My name is Heather Anderson, and I'm the owner and heart behind Savory Cafe
here in Hershey, Pennsylvania. Creating a place where people can gather over
delicious homemade food, genuine hospitality, and meaningful moments has
always been a dream of mine.

Savory Cafe was born from my love of cooking, community, and the joy of
bringing people together around the table. From scratch-made breakfast
favorites and comforting lunch classics to specialty brunches, seasonal
events, and fresh-baked sourdough, every detail is thoughtfully created with
care and intention.

My vision has always been simple: to create a warm, welcoming space where
people feel connected. Whether Savory is part of your morning coffee ritual,
a place to catch up with friends over brunch, or the setting for a special
celebration, my hope is that it feels like home-just with someone else doing
the cooking.

I'm proud to call the Hershey area home, where I live with my husband,
Craig, and our five children. As a family, we love to travel, explore new
places, and of course, enjoy great food. As passionate food lovers, many of
our travels have inspired flavors, ideas, and special touches that make
their way onto our menu-bringing a little taste of those experiences back
home to share with our guests.

Alexis Kotchey is Savory’s General Manager and one of the Event Managers.
She has been with Savory since day one. Alexis has over 13 years in the
restaurant and hospitality industry, working her way through nearly every
role—from serving and bartending to now managing as a General Manager.
Hospitality has always come naturally to her, and she takes pride in
creating spaces where both guests and staff feel welcomed, supported, and
genuinely cared for.

Alexis loves the balance of structure and creativity this industry
brings—whether it’s organizing service flow, planning events, or jumping in
wherever she is needed. Being part of meaningful moments, from everyday
coffee routines to weddings and special celebrations, is something she never
takes for granted. Alexis is a visionary and so talented at bringing
whatever you are imagining to life!

Alexis lives in Hummelstown with her husband and their two dogs, who keep
life fun and grounded outside of work. 
Outside of the café, she enjoys spending time with family and friends,
finding new places to eat and explore, and making the most of life’s little
moments.

Elizabeth serves as the Hospitality and Events Manager, bringing a unique blend of compassion, organization, and creative vision to every experience she helps create. Born and raised in Erie, Pennsylvania, Elizabeth's professional journey began as a business owner I event planning before transitioning into healthcare, where she served in Social Services, Case Management, and ultimately as a Director of Social Services in long-term care. Her background has equipped her with exceptional interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and a deep commitment to creating welcoming, meaningful experiences for guests and families alike.

Now returning to her roots in event management and hospitality, Elizabeth combines her clinical iSight with her passion for planning to ensure every event is thoughtfully executed and memorable. She is bilingual in Polish, values strong community connections, and takes pride in making every guest feel genuinely cared for.

Outside of work, Elizabeth is a proud mom of three and a dedicated military spouse. Her personal and professional experiences shape her warm, service-driven approach that focuses on creating events that feel both seamless and special.
